Two-faced Democracy in Haiti

During last week which was also the week of thanksgiving, there was a big governmental and provisional election council problem with a political party named the (fanmi lavalas). “The Haiti Information Project” recently published a short article reporting that the Provisional Election Council (CEP) had allowed the Fanmi Lavalas party to register to run in elections which was scheduled for early 2010. According to dependable sources, an original document was requested by the CEP and signed by Aristide was delivered to the offices of the council shortly after 1:00 pm on November 23. Three days later the CEP would publish the names of those political parties that are going to be allowed to participate in the elections and the Fanmi Lavalas party did not appear on the list. The party did not make all the legal requirements to register and followed the legal opinions masking their true political intent. This was what they wrote after they realized they made their mistake:” We humbly apologize for the mistaken assumption in our reporting that the CEP was telling the truth and willing to play by the rules of the democratic game in Haiti.”Apparently the fanmi lavalas party was not ashamed by playing against the rules. Ninety percent of the electorate boycotted the last Senate race after the fanmi Lavalas was excluded by the CEP.The latest news which just went out was said that the political party (fanmi lavalas) is close so now basically this political party no longer exists anymore.

the cat and the spying dogs

Once upon a time there were two dogs that planned to take the cat’s food. They made one week spying on the poor cat, but they never knew that the cat was smarter than them.everyday, when it was time to feed the animals, the two dogs stayed on a corner and looking at what was the food of the day for the cat. The dogs usually get “puppy chow as food” but they always hated but had to deal with it. The cat had his food from a can food “which said only for cats poison for dogs. Well one day the dogs decided patiently for the feeding time and as soon as they poured the food from the can of the cat’s food on the bowl, the two dogs ran as fast as possible to attack the cat. Now it was two against one, the cat was a little afraid but smarter the only thing the cat did was jumped up on a roof and let the dogs enjoy the poison food. Three days later the two dumb dogs die.
